build concept. A team effort by the owner, design professionals, and the contractor will result in
a successful project. The secret starts with project management. It can be summed up in simple
terms... on time and on budget. The design-build concept for fire protection requires that the team
give the customer a complete fire protection system that will meet, or exceed, the National Fire
Protection Association standards, the International Building Code, and the local Fire Department
requirements. Design may also include conforming to the owner’s insurance underwriter
requirements as well.
Fire Systems West’s technical approach to sales has become the standard for others to follow. Each
member of our sales staff has many years of design and project management experience. Because of
this technical expertise, we avoid “selling equipment” in favor of “designing solutions” for all
of your fire service needs.
